Bob and Ginny visited the Boboli (Giardino di Boboli) Gardens located behind the Palazzo Pitti (Pitti Palace). The gardens were begun in 1549 by the wife of the Medici Grand Duke, Cosimo I. They are less formal than French gardens, have very few flowers and are not always well kept.
